New Springsteen Album Leaked Track by Track Daily

in preparation of its March release

Three days late but there you go, the first three tracks are rubbish anyway we heard.... Billboard: "Bruce Springsteen is giving fans an early listen to his 17th studio album, "Wrecking Ball." Each track can be heard in its entirety through a series of streaming previews, kicking off Monday with "Easy Money" on Backstreets.com. The Americana-themed track is the second off the album, following Wrecking Ball's opener "We Take Care of Our Own," which has already debuted in music video form."

New Shins Video Now on iTunes

a glossy, Wes Anderson-style journey

Pitchfork report: "The DANIELS-directed video for the Shins' "Simple Song" is a glossy, Wes Anderson-style journey into the fictional future of frontman James Mercer. Beginning with Mercer's death, the clip chronicles his relationship with his three children (played by the other members of the band) as they tear through their house in search of the deed. Get the video free on iTunes now. The Shins' new album Port of Morrow is out March 20 via Columbia and James Mercer's imprint Aural Apothecary."

Springsteen: New Album is Patriotic but Angry

"what was done to our country was wrong and no-one has been held to account"

NME reports: "Bruce Springsteen has revealed that his new album 'Wrecking Ball' is inspired by a "critical, questioning and often angry patriotism". The veteran singer held a press conference at Theatre Marigny in Paris earlier this week to unveil material from the album, which is set for release on March 5."

  • Gabriel & the Hounds “Kiss Full of Teeth” Communion, 2012

Amongst the burble and parp of electronics, recognizable patterns flash occasionally past like Fincas glimpsed on a Spanish train journey. Then with the clusters of music that is ‘A Beginning’, it delivers the listener straight into the bustling musical metropolis for ‘What Good Would That Do?”
