Zac Brown Band Get Animated for New Video

Billboard reports: "Nashville meets Nickelodeon as Zac Brown Band gets the animated treatment from Mike Judge, the creator of "Beavis & Butthead" and "King of the Hill," in the music video for their new single "The Wind." The clip premiered on Tuesday (July 3) on CMT."

"The video shows what is seemingly the heroic origins of Robo Redneck, AKA The Six Million Dollar Honky.  After a truckin' adventure in the woods goes horribly awry and nearly kills an animated version of Zac Brown, his bandmates have no choice but to rebuild him. Brown eventually returns as a beer-chuggin', duck huntin', guitar pickin' man-robot hybrid. The clip ends with a "To Be Continued" card, followed by a teaser for Robo Redneck vs. Bionic Peckerwood. Will the two fight? Join forces? Tune in soon (maybe) to find out!

"The Wind" is the first single off of Zac Brown Band's upcoming album "Uncaged," to be released July 10 on Southern Ground/Atlantic. The song currently sits at No. 24 on the current Hot Country Songs chart."

A star studded celebration of the days when folk bought sheet music (in their millions) 'The Beautiful Old Turn Of The Century Songs' is a project curated by Paul Marstellar and Gabriel Rhodes. A year in the making this pair have persuaded a host of luminaries to join them in this festival of old time music hall favourites which range from 1823 to 1918. Using instruments that would have been available at the time of the originals they have crafted a delightful homage that will, depending on the age of the listener, revive memories of family sing-along's and the BBC light programme or intrigue at the sound of contemporary artists delving into this cornucopia of antique delights.
