Unreleased Dylan Lyrics to be Auctioned

"I asked everyone I knew to write a song about the nuclear bomb"

Have a good weekend people, enjoy the melodic sunshine as someone who used to frequent these parts once said!  Rolling Stone reports: "A previously unreleased Bob Dylan song lyric entitled "Go Away You Bomb" will be auctioned by Christie's on June 26th. The song was written by Dylan in 1963 for Izzy Young of the Greenwich Village Folklore Center. "I asked everyone I knew to write a song about the nuclear bomb," Young tells Rolling Stone. A star studded celebration of the days when folk bought sheet music (in their millions) 'The Beautiful Old Turn Of The Century Songs' is a project curated by Paul Marstellar and Gabriel Rhodes. A year in the making this pair have persuaded a host of luminaries to join them in this festival of old time music hall favourites which range from 1823 to 1918. Using instruments that would have been available at the time of the originals they have crafted a delightful homage that will, depending on the age of the listener, revive memories of family sing-along's and the BBC light programme or intrigue at the sound of contemporary artists delving into this cornucopia of antique delights.
