As a non commercial site, and what with the ever present issue of hosting and server costs, Americana UK constantly needs to find a way of funding itself in order to carry on providing a comprehensive up to date guide to the americana scene in the UK today free of lots of intrusive advertising, and now you can help and get something for your trouble in return We're asking you to make a standing donation of £5 a month to the website - this small donation will allow us to carry on functioning on a month to month basis and to provide you with the website you want. In return, you can expect from us a free 20 track CD delivered to your door twelve times a year packed with the some of the best and latest americana, alt-country and powerpop we've been sent for review on the site that month. Americana UK relies on its visitors' involvement in order to keep going financially - if you can get involved, we'll be very grateful - and you'll get something out of it too, we hope, in return. |

PLEASE NOTE! If you have not received your first CD within six weeks of making your first payment, please do let us know as Paypal's automated email service (which lets us know you've set a recurring payment up) sometimes fails. Not very often, just occasionally. Thanks. |

Terms and Conditions Friends of Americana UK is a monthly donation service for visitors to contribute to the running costs of the Americana UK site. The CD provided has no resale value and is sent exclusively to Friends of Americana UK free of charge recurrently as a thank you for their continued support of the site. While the CD will normally be sent monthly, occasionally we may send two in one go for the current month and the succeeding also. Delivery of CDs is not insured, but we will replace CDs should they go missing. Please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of your first CD in the UK or up to 6 weeks internationally. For details on how your track may end up on monthly compilation if you're an artist or label, please head over to our Mailing FAQs area. The scheme may be withdrawn at any time but we obviously will stop taking your money as soon as it is. Obviously. But we don't anticipate withdrawal any sooner than, say, our managing to get our troops out of Afghanistan. |
