I represent both of them when they tour here, booking shows etc.

Kate's album gets a release on 3rd April, it's a new studio recording with 11 new songs, produced by Will Kimbrough and featuring a host of great musicians.

Jeff's album is out now and available from www.villagerecords.com

The Shins - Port of Morrow
Jay Farrar, Yim Yames, Will Johnson and Anders Parker - New Multitudes
Lightships - Electric Cables
Beach House - Bloom
Cowboy Junkies - The Wilderness
Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls
Gregory Porter - Be Good
Songs of Green Pheasant - Soft Wounds
Father John Misty - Fear Fun
Adam Faucett - More Like A Temple

Adam Faucet was recommended to me by one of my friends in the USA. I'd never heard of him but this guy's album is a classic. Check out the video. If you like the song, you will love the album. I highly recommend it.

the 5 disc Nomad box set is soon to be available, have you heard them all?
If so, would you think it worth going for at just £17.02 on Amazon? - it does seems quite reasonable at that :?

There seems some interesting 'on trend' stuff on your list and the vid was worth a watch, although his voice comes out a little thin on my laptop speakers - still... some there worth investigation... no doubts 8)

BigE, regards Cowboy Junkies, yes, I would get the set for that price. This latest album is, in my opinion, one of the best albums of their career. All the albums is this series are different. Even if it's not all to your taste, you can certainly compile a double album's worth of great Cowboy Junkies music from them.

Regards Adam Faucett, it must just be your speakers. His voice is big. His songs are incredible. The sound of the album is great, it's very well produced and sonically top drawer. I posted that track because it's the only one from the album I could find on youtube but it's a very special album and I highly recommend it to anyone who even remotely likes the song featured in the video. There are better songs on the album. I have checked out his previous albums and although they're good, they are not close to being as great as More Like A Temple.

Anyone a fan of Canada's Ana Egge? - I've just picked up her last two albums and I'm finding them pretty good - the latest one 'Bad Blood' was produced by Steve Earle. Does anyone go further back into her catalogue... if so which of the albums are to be recommended? :)

Finally got hold of a copy of Dr John's "Duke Elegant", and I have to say that so far it's rather a disappointment. Just too slick, and too much saxaphone.

Rufus Wainwright - Out of the Game.
Carole King - The Legendary Demos.
We Are Augustines - Rise Ye Sunken Ships

Three excellent albums. It's great to hear Rufus Wainwright back on top form. It's what you'd call a grower and gets better with every play. I'm starting to believe it'll be a top 5 album for me at the end of the year. If you already like Rufus, then you will love this new lp.
