currently:-
Jim White - Where It Hits You ~ just arrived and I'm enjoying it so far
The Band of Heathens ~ just getting into these guys now on the player
Poco - Essential Collection(1975-1982) ~ a cheap compile, covering some great ground.
Nate Neath + Friends - Rockville Pike ~ Appalachian to go
Antje Duvekot - Snapshots ~ her 1st two albums +
Punch Brothers - Whose's Feeling Young Now? ~ progressive bluegrass apparently?
Ryan Adams (& The Cardinals) - RA &The Cardinals III/IV ~ despite a few poor reviews, there's some good stuff here, but could it have been wittled to a single album?
The Cash Brothers - Raceway & Phonebooth Tornado ~ a pair of Canadiana albums I wus amissing until now

The Great Unknowns - Homefront

9 star review on this site in January and deservedly so - Becky Warren sounds like Lucinda Williams in her pomp and it rocks and twangs in all the right places - best thing I've heard all year so far.

It's good - one of those that rewards repeated plays as the hypnotic rhythms sink in.
Not up to the standard of Transnormal Skiperoo mind - that one took a while to sink in, but it's had many listens over the last 4 years.
