The second release from this Omaha based combo sees them turn in a confident and accomplished set of soul and funk infused rock, with the prerequisites for the successful delivery of their chosen genre all firmly in place, viz the tight, solid interplay between bassist James Carrig and drummer Scott "Zip" Zimmerman, the fiery and assured jazz tinged lead guitar of Jason Ferguson, and Benck's gritty, dynamic, soulful singing, inviting obvious comparisons with Bonnie Raitt. All of the songs are originals, and all provide a fine vehicle for the band's talents, with the sultry, sensuous closing track "I Can Still", probably the pick of an impressive bunch.
